Zachary Weber was our Spirit Award winner this week. Zachary behaves kindly and respectfully to his classmates and his teachers. He is a fine Christian leader in our school. We’re proud of you, Zachary!

We are happy to report that our standardized testing is completed for this year. We typically get the results by the end of the school year and include these in your child’s report card the last day of school. If we do not receive them by the end of school, I will mail them to you this summer.

Everyone is excited about tonight’s talent show! We had our first practice yesterday and I think it may be the best yet. Please have your child in their classroom by 5:50 p.m. The show begins at 6:00!

There will NOT be a staff development day on May 18th. We will have classes as usual.

I’ve attached a copy of the school dress code to the newsletter. My point in doing this is to remind everyone to check the length of shorts being worn to school. Shorts that fit last year, may be very short this year. The same goes for length of tops.

Now is the time to sign up for our three year old preschool! We have had quite a lot of interest and will be making a decision by June 1st if it is going to be a go for next year. The cost is $88 per month and will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 11::00. Please use the social media of your choice to help us spread the word.

We will be opening enrollment to the general population on June 1st as well. Your child’s seat is held with their $100 registration fee.

Our last day of school is a fun way to celebrate a successful year. We have chapel service at 9:00 followed by awards and our “Moving Up” ceremony. Parents, grandparents, other family and friends are invited. Students may leave with parents as soon as the service and awards are over. There will be child care for the afternoon if needed. Children in child care will need to bring a lunch. This is typically over between 10:30 and 11:00.
