"Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

Psalm 25:5

Dear Families,

Our school year is coming to a close. It has been a blessing to teach your precious children this year. It is sad as some of us part ways as some children move on to different schools. I will miss them, and I hope they will always remember their time at St. Paul’s. I pray that more than anything, they will remember they are loved by the Savior wherever they may go.

Progress reports are going home today. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to let me know.

Looking ahead to next week, we have our day at Katy Park, weather permitting, on Tuesday. If you can drive students to and/or from the park, please let me know. We will leave school right after our opening in the gym, and we will return at 2:45. You will not need to stay all day at the park if you are unable to. If your child is riding with another parent, please remember to leave a booster seat at school on Tuesday morning. Students need to bring a lunch from home, with a drink and include ice packs as needed. We will provide some bottled waters in the afternoon. Also, it is a good idea to send sunscreen with your child. If we are unable to go to the park, you will get a Remind message from Mrs. Tull on Monday, and we will do most of the same activities we had planned at the school.

Wednesday will be our last day of school. We will have a closing chapel service at 9:00, followed by our closing awards ceremony. It will probably last until about 10:30. Students will return to the classroom with me after the awards ceremony, and you will pick them up there if they are not staying for after school care. If your child is staying for after school care, you will need to send a home lunch.

I pray everyone has a safe and happy summer!

God’s Blessings,

Amie DeFord
