Welcome back after Easter break. I hope everyone enjoyed the time off reflected on God's plan for our salvation. We are getting close to wrapping up this school year.

Jesus Time

 

We learned about the time Jesus spent on earth after His resurrection and His return to heaven.

 

Our Bible words this week: “Lo, I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20

 

 

We noticed signs of spring around our playground and our school. The green has returned to the trees, there are flowers on the playground, the birds are active, and we've had some warmer days. We also learned about rainy weather, how clouds are formed, and what causes rain and thunder.

 

 

What's new in kindergarten?

 

We practiced coin recognition. We worked on counting nickels and dimes. We used dominoes to practice number skills.

 

In phonics, we practiced reading and spelling our sight words, and we learned the digraph sh.

Lunch Menu

 

Mon.: Turkey, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, rolls, pumpkin pie

 

Tues.: Baked chicken, rolls, tater tots, broccoli w/ cheese, fruit salad

 

Wed.: Hamburgers, oven bakes fries, pork-n-beans, pears,

 

Thurs.: Muscacolii, salad, garlic bread, applesauce, sugar cookies

 

Fri.: 7th grade surprise menu
